Product Description
LDAO is a colorless to pale yellow clear liquid with a relative density of 0.98 at 20 °C. It dissolves freely in water and polar organic solvents, yet shows limited solubility in non-polar organic solvents.
Its ionic behavior in aqueous solutions varies with pH, displaying non-ionic or cationic features; it takes on cationic properties under acidic conditions (pH < 7). As an amine oxide surfactant, LDAO delivers outstanding detergency and generates plentiful, stable foam. Its melting point falls between 132 °C and 133 °C.
