Product Details
Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is widely used in various industrial applications due to its strong ability to bind with a broad range of metal cations. It is available in several salt forms, such as disodium EDTA (EDTAS). Both EDTA and its salts serve as effective chelating agents in cosmetic formulations.

Product Application
Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is an aminopolycarboxylic acid and a hexadentate ligand that forms octahedral complexes by chelating with metal ions, particularly cations. Its disodium salt form (EDTA) acts as a blood anticoagulant, playing a role in the development of pseudothrombocytopenia by binding calcium in the blood and preventing clotting. It is commonly used in hematological tests and also enhances the antibacterial activity of lysozyme.
