Product Description
4-Morpholineethanesulfonic acid is a white solid powder at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure. It dissolves easily in polar solvents such as water, ethanol, methanol and acetone, yet is insoluble in non-polar solvents.
Its molecular structure consists of a morpholine ring and an ethanesulfonic acid functional group. As a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic unit, the morpholine ring imparts superior chemical stability and inertness, along with low toxicity and minimal biological irritation.
In contrast, the negatively charged ethanesulfonic acid group endows the compound with high water solubility and remarkable buffering ability. These properties make it highly applicable in biochemistry, pharmaceutical research and laboratory-scale experiments.

Product Application
This product is extensively employed as a calcium soap dispersant in soap and toilet soap formulas. In detergent products, it acts as an efficient low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free substitute for sodium tripolyphosphate, and can also be incorporated as an active component in liquid cleaning agents.
For industrial purposes, it serves as a medium-foam mineral flotation reagent. Additionally, it performs well as a dispersant and wetting agent in leather degreasing processes, as well as in dye, pigment and pesticide formulations.
Furthermore, it is applied as a deinking agent in the printing industry, enhancing ink-removal efficiency during paper recycling and processing.
